Welcome to Geistlich Pharma
Geistlich Pharma, a Swiss company whose headquarters are in the central Swiss town of Wolhusen, with a second location in central Switzerland, places great importance on Swiss quality. Our entire research, development and production facilities are concentrated at our Wolhusen site. The new extension built in Wolhusen in 2019 consolidates the philosophy behind our approach of having “everything under one roof” and represents an additional commitment to our location, where bones and collagen have been processed continually since 1899. The twelve affiliates cover Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France, China, Brazil, South Korea, North America, Australia, New Zealand, India and Japan.
As a progressive, family-run company, with a tradition dating back to 1851, Geistlich has enjoyed solid growth in the last decade and put in a strong performance. Assisted by our employees and guided by our values, the company has kept growing and is internationally successful. This means we can offer an attractive and stable working environment, with numerous benefits.
Why people work for Geistlich Pharma
Everyone has their own personal ideas of what a positive working environment is and what having a career means. It’s important to us that our staff are able to recognize and develop their potential. This is why there are numerous opportunities for you to shape your career at Geistlich.
“As well as demonstrating their technical expertise, the executive team and managers at Geistlich Pharma also have comprehensive social skills in relation to how they treat their colleagues. The atmosphere in the company is friendly and people respect one another.”
“What I like at Geistlich is that personal contact is important – whether in day-to-day interactions or through regular staff events. Despite the company’s international importance, there is a family-like, open atmosphere at work. With the training it offers, Geistlich also encourages us to think outside the box and in the process also brings out the strengths of individual employees.”
“What I particularly value about my work is that the latest research results and findings coming out of production and the market flow into product development. As a project manager I’m involved in the different phases of product development and work very closely with other departments.”
What I like about Geistlich is that the company has an international outlook and yet it lives up to its "family" brand value. Employees are also encouraged and trained as individuals, and new ideas and projects that staff come up with are supported by managers and various committees. You really do feel "at home".
At Geistlich complex challenges are tackled and resolved using “state-of-the-art” tools, methods and team spirit.
“Regenerative medicine and Dr. Peter Geistlich’s pioneering work in this area really impressed me from the outset. As a long-serving employee, I particular value the company’s dynamic development, the esteem in which employees are held, and the ability to work independently in the laboratory with new challenges cropping up all the time.”
It’s exciting to work in a Swiss family-run company that has a global reach. It’s clearly structured, which means you can work independently. In my job I like the new challenges we face in logistics every day and that we tackle as a team.
