As of January 2015, Geistlich Pharma will be starting with its own affiliate on the Australian and New Zealand market. Collaboration with the existing distribution partner Henry Schein will be continued. In future, Geistlich Pharma PTY Ltd. will supply and serve specialists in hard and soft tissue regeneration, whereas Henry Schein as the distribution partner will concentrate on general dental practitioners. Both the new affiliate and Henry Schein offer the product lines Geistlich Bio-Oss®, Geistlich Bio-Gide® and Geistlich Mucograft®.
Market leadership with good perspectives
The increased presence contributes to greater proximity to the customer and specialised consulting for dental surgeons in regenerative medicine. Dental surgeons and their patients will benefit from this in equal measure. Today, Geistlich products are already leaders on the market for bone replacement materials and membranes in Australia and New Zealand. The Australia and New Zealand markets developed positively in the past and offer persistently promising perspectives; gross domestic product is growing at an above-average rate and Geistlich Pharma is hoping for sustainable success with the solid development on the implant market.
