Geistlich has long been committed to vocational training. The young people can take up apprenticeships in the company in the five profiles of business administrator, computer scientist, laboratory assistant, graphic designer and and logistics assistant. What they all have in common is the high practical relevance and the work in a team. It is therefore not surprising that the newly trained people are in great demand on the job market.

Fit for everyday working life

Why is vocational training one of the pillars of Geistlich alongside permanent internal and external further training? CEO Paul Note: "We take our own young professionals with us on a journey through our everyday practice; they enrich us with their thirst for knowledge and their undisguised view. I congratulate our four apprentices on their diploma!" The young professionals are required to take on responsibility in the international environment of Geistlich at an early stage and to face new challenges from the very beginning.

Good prospects thanks to practical relevance

Leo Furrer, newly qualified computer scientist: "My school and training rucksack has filled up over the four years; now I am looking forward to my new task at Geistlich! The six apprenticeships starting in the summer of 2020 have already been filled, and Geistlich will be taking on three new apprentices as business administrator, computer scientist and laboratory assistant from the summer of 2021. Recruitment for these apprenticeships will begin in August 2021.
