Dr Andreas Geistlich succeeds Dr Peter Geistlich, who died at the end of July 2014, as the President of the Board of Directors of Geistlich Pharma AG. Mr Jakob Hirzel is the new Vice-President. CEO and Delegate of the Board of Directors Paul Note and Dr Martin Geistlich complete the team.
Andreas Geistlich holds a doctorate in biochemistry with postgraduate studies in business management and was already the Vice-President of the Board. Andreas Geistlich has also chaired the Board of Directors of Ed. Geistlich Söhne AG since 2006. His many years of experience working for Geistlich will ensure the continuous and long-term development of the family-run joint stock corporation, which was established in 1851.
